TCP Brokerage closed its 4th transaction within a few weeks during the 2nd Covid lockdown period. The historic building “Alte Spinnerei”, a mixed used healthcare – retail property of 14 200 sqm in Bayreuth, is another example of how efficient financial institutions have become during the pandemic. 

In the 1st lockdown, institutions were busy to set up home offices as well as remote team processes. Since the 2nd Lockdown, acquisition teams have been very focused on investment opportunities with a high probability of closing. Off market transactions with higher closing probabilities and more exclusivity have gained in popularity within the real estate industry. It seems that real estate players are not willing or not able anymore to go into long bidding processes in today's environment. 

These new successful working habit of companies and their advisors highlight the efficiency of the thriving off-market transaction model in an increasingly dynamic environment.
